Appia, national tasks for Mirco Della Vecchia

incarichi nazionali APPIAMirco Della Vecchia has been asked to join the CNA National Presidency for the Food Sector. This is a very important appointment – says the President of Appia, Moreno De Col – because it represents the confirmation of Mirco Della Vecchia’s professional and association commitment. Moreover it is a significant chance to submit the specificity of Belluno’s territory and its typical activities to the national attention.

Mirco Della Vecchia is a well-known chocolate pastry-cook from Limana and has been awarded many important prizes; he is the regional president of the CNA dieticians and of the National Association Fine Chocolate Organization.

He is the author of some special events such as Cioccolando and Sapori Italiani (Italian Flavours); he has also been the promoter of innovative projects such as Bel Gelato, which aims to the enhancement of craftsmen’s ice-cream value, made of local ingredients. It is a challenge, based on the awareness that a more and more powerful cooperation between the food sector and the local agricultural industry can be the winning card for all Belluno’s traders.

Even the recent decree of September 25th, which aims to reduce any regulation infringements, confirms and maintains the transparency tasks, the chance to check all the products and the correct information that have to be provided to the customer: all these details have already been included in the article nr. 17 of the law 99/2009, but a specific subject concerning those products completely made in Italy has been added.

This carries on the development which had already been widely recognized by the Parliament but that could not be followed up in the last two years.
